Mezzelune Cacio e Pepe is a new pasta creation from bio-verde that is traditionally prepared with a mixture of cheese (cacio) and black pepper (pepe). This pasta is half-moon-shaped, hence the name "mezzelune".

Particularities

Only durum wheat semolina and eggs are used for the dough, with no pre-cooking or water added to the dough to increase the weight. This is reflected in the golden-yellow colour and first-class taste of the pasta.

Usage

The mezzelune are ready to eat within 3 - 4 minutes in boiling salted water or fried in a pan and can be served with a little melted butter and ground pepper, for example.
